Act 2006 won't open 1

It was working just a moment ago...closed it when I went to re open, click- hour glass appeared for a second then dissapeared...very frustrating- any thoughts?

Most likely ACT.EXE is still loaded in your task manager under the processes list and running in the background. Either end the task or reboot and you should be fine.
