Anyone done the ACS, if so any tips/info?

I have to do two exams, a core exam which seems to be a networking exam and a product one for IPO so any info would be cool.

I just got done completing my ACS last week. The first test was fairly unexpected. Im not sure what Avaya was thinking. I started to take that test and in the middle I thought I was taking the wrong test. There were several questions about Linux. There was not one IP Office question on the test. Take a look at the study guide on Avayas site. It pretty much asked questions about everything on the study guide including project management. Whoa! I hope this helps.

I have my ACS in IP Office Implementation and it hasn't done me a crap load of good. I stuggle with these damn things every day. Based on my experience, I would say that all you need to do is go over the "overview" section of each product and application so you know what each one is for and what each one is suppose to do and you can pass the test. You only need a 65% to pass. At least, that's all you needed about 6 months ago.

Yeah the certs look good on paper. Big John go to avaya-learning dot com and follow the links to the ACS certification. You should see a link to the study guide. Also studying the overviews wont help on the first part of the ACS exam because there isnt one question on that test that is IP Office specific. Its asks questions about things such as Linux, Network Design, and among other things Project Managing! I got half way through it and thought I was taking the wrong test.
