Hi Telprog,
Just read about a product called a serial to ethernet adapter by B&B Electronics. Nifty device with loads of applications. Includes software. Mind you, your serial connection is now a network resource that needs additional authentication to access from the net. What do you think?

Remote program or conect 2 together? I have a site that I used a Multitech gateway to Voip the 2 together.

Hi Furball,
This is simply a way to put the RS-232 programming port on the network for possible remote access via the NET. VPN or just a controlled access resource (that would be my vote).
The possibilies I'm considering is remote programming access (connections would be more reliable) and SMDR.
I don't think that connecting Partners together would be a large concern. The Partner is not designed for this. Better to use iP Office or Magix in that case.

Telprog,
I just got their catalog out of the blue, I almost threw it out but had a look. The possilities are interesting to say the least. Now you can integrate systems without running extra cables all over the place (thinking voice mail stand alone, other systems) and apps with sreen pops, etc..
