ACS release 6 not transfering to VM on staion busy ,

customer has a ACS rel 6 extension if busy takes you to the mail log in "welcome to partner mail please enter extension and pound sign "

ring no nswer works fine, goes right to his mailbox.

said it was working fine untill he changed his outgoing message . Its a partner maail rel 3.0

Im not seeing anything in the manual on busy transfer .

went into VM programing and didnt see anything there .

thinkin it thru it would have to e a VM problem and not ACS Im going to try deleting and rebuilding the mailbox and powering the vm up and down .

turned out to be the VM

I deleted and rebuilt the mailbox , problem was still there powered VM up and down and it went away

Hi Skip,
Sounds like the VM got confused. I usually cycle the power as a first step. Amazing how many problems get fixed that way. Especially if the fault is weird or doesn't make any sense.
