I had a question for the ACS gurus out there.
I am working with an ACS R6 phone system that has a call forwarding option to a centrex line which connects to a sister office, also running a similar ACS system and it's taking forever.
From the moment you hit the number to be transferred, it takes about 10 seconds to get a ring at the other location's site. (There's a half second of hold music, a quick series of clicks which sound like it's dumpped your call entirely, then 10 seconds of silence, followed by another click, then it starts ringing.)
Through the ACS/Partnermail programming it says it's a centrex transfer. If I dial the same centrex number from one of the phones at that location, it rings instantaneously at the second location.
I'm new to supporting phone systems, and am assisting a small business with the basics of their system - changing voicemail passwords, locating extensions lines, etc. Essentially sorting out a lot of undocumented mess...Any suggestions on how I can troubleshoot this or gain more insight on what is taking place within the system is appreciated!
