ACS R8 Caller ID stops working on POT phones 1

Hi there,

Has anyone seen any problems with the R8 processor where Caller ID going to single line phones stop working? After the processor is rebooted it will work for a while and then stop working again. Caller ID will continue to work on the system phones though.

I have seen a report on another board, describing the same scenario. CID works for about 10 hours, then stops, a reboot of the system brings it back for a time.

The solution was to replace the processor, there is no open QPPCN on the issue.

I have the same problem. I normally work on the G3 (definity) but have a lot of ACS R8 for the sole purpose to provide incomming analog caller id to the stations. This is a real issue because the customer has upgraded from a R6 for the sole purpose to capture callerid on analog sta.

Can you tell me what revision of the R8 processor this is on? Please do a Feature 59 from any system phone to get revision #.
