ACS R7 with VMS r5 Patch info needed

I have just upgraded to ACS r7 and my Partner Mail v5 needs the patch to get the DND problem resolved.

Is there a particular way to get Avaya to understand what I need ? I contacted the vendor where I bought the R7 and they said I need to call Avaya. I called Avaya tech support and they claim there is no patch but if there was I would have to get it from the business group.

The VMS r5 is at level 16, is there a higher level that contains the patch I need or is it separate.

Thanks for any assistance...

I found a post from a few months back that touches on this subject.


Some of the vendors who contributed to that post should be able to point you in the right direction. Personally, if I found myself in this situation, and money was available, I'd upgrade to the Partner Messaging platform. [smile]
 
We recently received the update card from Avaya for the VS5.(unlimited use) If your vendor can't supply you with the fix what good are they? If your supplier is truly a Avaya Business Partner I don't see why they can't help you.
Just my thoughts.
 
We encountered this problem as well. We got the card and went out to update the system.
