Ok, I know I've made this work before on an R6, but for the life of me I can get it to work on the R7. What I have is an R7 processor, PC Mail Large, and 5 phones.

The customer wants Remote Call Forwarding on this system. I set #322 for all extensions, set Personal Speed dial codes up w/ a 9* so it grabs an outside line from the ALS and inserts a pause before dialing, and then the phone number it should dial. I then setup the "forward" button on each corresponding phone. I press the Forward button on an extension, and make a call in on a main number. I answer the call and transfer the call to the extension that is on forwarding. The transfered call rings 4 times at that ext., and then VM pics up asking to leave a message. The call is not forwarded to the cell whatsoever. What am I missing? Does the PC mail not have this feature? And these are not Centrex lines coming in from Telco, just POTS.

Take the 9 * out unless auto line selection takes intercom first.

ALS does indeed take intercom first on this setup.

Take the 9* out anyway, as speed dial will automatically access a dial tone first. At the extension, just press Feature and the Personal Speed Dial Code that contains the outside number to be sure that the call will go through. Then be sure the Forward button is Feature 11-XX-SD. Turn it on, Intercom the forwarded extension from another extension, see that the call goes through. Then, once the call is sent from the auto attendant, all should be OK.

Oh, BTW, for a pause in a dial string of personal or system speed dial, it's HOLD, not *. (such as waiting to put in a long distance PIN)

The star is used as a pause when outcalling from a Messaging mailbox.

The forwarding button does light when pressed, but doesn't do anything. I'll take the 9* out and read through the posted link. Thanks TTT. I'll give it a try on Tues.

OK, If the light is not lighting. First go to the ext and figure out which personal speed dial you have the remote number forwarded too.
Press feature 00
Touch the button you have labeled "forward"
press feature11 then the ext you are at and the speed dial you want to use.
Feature 00 to get out of programming.

Ex: Feature11 2280.

That will forward the calls to speed dial 80.
When you forward the calls by fressing "forward" the light will come off. To turn off the forwarding, preff "forawrd" again.
