There is a patch available thru Avaya Tech Support only to correct a remote call forwarding issue involving ACS R7.0 91E. I will post the new release when the card come in.
It will correct an issue of lines not being disconnected after the call is complete.

It is about time. I had Avaya involved with Telco engineers on that same issue for two days a while back, and they never resolved it. They pointed the finger at Telco, while the Telco pointed back.

You do not always get what you pay for, but you never get what you do not pay for.

The release is the .91F it also fixes the same problem on the T-1 lockup when going from one pool key to answer another call to the same DID number. Without the patch you need to hangup on the first call using the hookswitch then releasing it to answer the second call. If you go from pool key to pool key the first key will lockup and you need to reset the system to clear problem.

The patch will take it to a R7.0 91I. Unfortunately it is a one time upgrade card and we have over 300 processors in stock.

You would think it would be a multi use card, since the release is a fix.

UPDATE on "PATCH"

The upgrade that takes the R7.0 91E to the R7.0 91I Should be only used when the customer doesn't want the ability to use the privacy function. With the upgrade in place you no longer have the ability to join a call in progress by touching the line appearance button.( even with auto privacy turned off) You must do a conference call.Or do a line pick up.
When we asked Avaya why, they said that was part of the fix. "Lesser of two evils" is what they said.

Go figure.

Yes. But all things can be copied or altered.
