I have an Partner ACS 7 that the customer wants to forward calls to a cell phone. I have verified that the phone is set to accept this feature #322. I have set the cell phone number as a speed dial. When I try to program the button for the call forward it only registers it as a speed dial. What am I missing?

The cell number goes into a Personal Speed Dial, such as Feature 99. The button on the phone is Feature 11-(Ext. No.)-99

Let me see if I am following you...the speed dial number for the cell phone would be 99. You would activate it this way: feature 00, select programmable button, feature 11, extension number, speed dial number, feature 00. Is that right?

Thats correct. After programming is complete, press button to activate.(green light on) That will forward to your cell phone. You can also just program a forward button(Feature 11) then press that button and dial XX99 or XX98, etc.. If you have multiple places you forward to.

I have programmed it that way. I press the programmable button and it just dial the speed dial number with no light coming on. What am I missing?

Feature 00
Feature 99
Dial Cell Phone Number
Press a Blank Programmable Button with a Light Next to it
Feature 11
Dial the Extension Number of the phone you are at
Dial 99
Feature 00

You have just programmed the cell number into personal speed dial slot 99, and added a button that forwards the extension to the number in slot 99.

Now press the button that you programmed, the green light should come on

Go to another phone, press Intercom, dial the extension number of the phone that you have forwarded, and the system should grab an outside line and call the cell phone.

In my experience with this feature, I have found that I had not made sure that auto line select was set for the station to allow another line to be accessed. Mine only had 1 line set up in ALS so reprogramming ALS fixed it for me. Also be sure to have disconnect supervision from the LEC or the call will not drop when finished.
