The mailbox 1 (assigned to extension 10) will not allow incoming callers the ability to leave a message. The caller hears 'cannot leave a message, mailbox full' When I go to extension 10/mailbox 1 it says their are no messages. I did a reset of that mailbox. It did not help. I still get the message 'mailbox full'. I temporarily assigned a different mailbox to ext 10 so ext 10 can receive VM messages. Any ideas?

Log into the mailbox, and check option 8 to make sure it is set to record mode.

If that isn't it, you'll have to do a full default of the card, which will wipe out all recordings, auto attendant, and mailbox settings, so that you can start over from scratch

Yes, I did that all ready, it is set to record mode.

How do I reset the card back to default settings?

Since that can be done remotely, it's like posting a password, and can't be done here....

This is a real long shot in the dark, but is it possible that the 'cannot leave a message, mailbox full' message somehow became recorded as the mailbox "greeting"? Chances are the voicemail will need a reset, but there have been instances where voicemail user instruction prompts somehow become recorded as greetings.
