I have a customer with the following:
- ACS R6 Processor
- 308 Expansion Card
- Partner Messaging

Presently AA answers all calls and routes them to their respective extensions or to VM if the call is unanswered or the extension is in use.

My question is the following:
The owner of x25 would like to be on a call, but be able to answer additional calls routed to x25 from the AA simultaneously. Is this possible with the Partner?

Thanks

the second call will ring on the phone if transferred to the extension and ring once then just blink (if abbreviated ring is active) so the extension has time to put the caller on hold and answer the second call
OR
is it an analog extension then you need to assign call waiting #316 to the extension to alert

Well, of course. The AA answers the call, and transfers it to the extension. It first rings on the Intercom, then rings on the actual line that the call came in on. Set the Abbreviated Ring to OFF for that extension, so that the user will be made aware that a 2nd (or more) call has arrived. Many times, with abbreviated ring turned on (the default setting), people miss the single ring, and never answer the new call.

Gotta love this site. The shame of it is tech support from my vendor told me it couldn't be done, but seemed to be more interested in my ordering volumes. I started to think I dialed into a sales meeting by mistake.

Thank you much!
