I have an ACS R6 Lite (non-expandable)I have been able to set up a forward button for forwarding calls to an outside number. When I press the button it says Forward 10 80
However, when the call comes to the extension the caller is disconnected and instead the person the caller was forwarded to gets transfered to extension 11. Has anyone heard of this? Has anyone had any experence setting up Remote Call Forwarding on the ACS R6 Lite?

Thanks for any help in advance.

My personal experience is limited to a single R6 non-expandible that needed forwarding to an outside number. It WAS only a single experience, but I had absolutely no problem with off-site forwarding whatsoever.

I don't think the software in this version was crippled in any way. Rather, I think some kind of shunt was used to prevent the processor from properly recognizing additional boards on the backplane.

Did you enable RCF (#322) before trying this? What kind of restrictions does the extension have? What do you have programmed in Speed Dial code 80?

For details on restrictions and interactions, read pages 8-60 and 8-61 (Adobe Acrobat pages 296-297) in the Partner Advanced Communication System Installation, Programming and Use manual.
