Ok,,,here goes. Customer just had an ACS r.5.0(which we installed just over a year ago)crash totally the other day. We installed a r6.0. They have 4 18d's and caller ID. Everything was peachy until all of the sudden, ext. 10 now does not get caller ID info until she picks up her handset. All of the other phones receive it before picking up the receiver. She switches the phone, and the same result. My tech support was SURE that the processor was bad, so we replaced it with yet another r6.0 and it worked fine again....until today when she called to tell me that she was no longer getting Caller ID info until she lifts her receiver once again! At first, I was thinking that it may be the CO and the manner in which they are sending the digits, but I have to exclude that because of the fact that all other phones are getting CID info correctly. Do I have another bad processor or is there something that I am not aware of that is causing this to happen? Any input is appreciated. Sorry for the long post. Thx
