I have set call forward to a cell phone before on user's extension. Programing a Call Forward button on user's telephone. I Have a client that has three off site users. The cleint would like to be able to have an incoming caller 'Call Forwarded to one of the three different off site users. My question is, do the three users have to have a phyiscal extension to be able to receive incoming calls to the ACS?

Thank you TTT, but what do you use for a Call Forward button?

Assign Ext. 10 the RCF feature (even if 10 won't be using it)

Use Centralized Telephone Programming to put the outside number into the phantom extension's personal speed dial

To forward from Ext. 10, dial Feature 11 - (Extension Number) - (Speed dial bin)

(So if you are going to use Ext. 30 for forwarding, in system programming #322-30-1 to allow remote call forwarding, then press the left intercom button to get to centralized telephone programming, dial 30 for Ext. 30, press Feature and dial 99 for 30's personal speed dial bin 99, dial the outside telephone number, and exit programming. Finally, at Ext. 10, Feature-11-30-99

Wow, buttonless RCF I love it. I had looked back at previous threads and at one point the suggetion was assign RCF to an extension wiht a phone, assign a RCF button, activate button, unplug extension telephone and it should stay activated. The only caveat was, if their was a power failure the user would have to replug the telepbone in and activate the RCF button.

thank you for your help.
