ACS R5 upgrades and cellphone connect

Greetings,

We currently have the Partner ACS R5 at our facility. We would like to be able to forward calls to our cellphones when out of the office. Only 2 people will be using this feature. We currently have 3 co lines. I know that the ACS cannot cellconnect unless upgraded to a higher version. How do I upgrade this system? Is a T1 card mandatory?

I would appreciate any help I can get on this. Thank you!

For remote call forward you need an ACS R6 or higher. It uses a second line to forward the call to the outside world(basically making a conference call). Cell phone connect is similar but will ring both phones at the same time.For cell phone connect you must have a T-1 and the extension must be able to access a line on the T-1.Also the ACS must be an ACSR6.0.4 or higher
