ACS R 7.0 and Partner VS R5.0 Transfering directly to operator

Hello

I have a ACS r7.0 that I am trying to install with a partner mail VS r 5.0 The ACS r1.0 failed so this is a replacement. I am tring to program this all to work. I have not reset the mail system. I was hoping that I could just program the new ACS to work with the mail system as it is. Right now when calls come in they are answered and sent to the receptionist phone after one ring. I have gone over all the setting and can't find why it would do this.

I guess that my two main questions is am I going about this right?

What setting am I missing that transfers this to a receptionist right away?

OK The voice mail system is in slot five. What are the ext.? I have the set to 42 43 44 45.


 
It depends on what modules are in the other slots.

The ACS R7 in the center slot (slot "P") is Ext. 10 - 18

If you have a 308 in the 1st slot, that would be 19 - 26

Another 308 in slot 2 is 27 - 34

One more 308 in slot 3 (after the ACS) is 35 - 42

And the VS mail is a 6-port card, in slot 4 (the last slot) is 43 - 48. The last 2 or 4 (depending on if you have an expansion card in the VS mail) are 47-48 or 45-48

If you have any 206 or 400 cards, recount the slots with 6 extensions per slot instead of 8.

 
I can intercom the vmail extensions and the voice mail answers. So I am sure that I got the right exts entered into hunt group 7. The phone system still is answering after one ring and tells the caller that they are being transfered to the receptionist. I am missing something
 
Your voicemail ports are not in group 7. List your equipment and someone will be able to help you.
