I have tried couple of ACS cards with both patches 91 I and 91 J and still having problem with loosing the programming after power loss, so I just wondering if its just me or someone out there having the same problems .I tried more than 10 ACS cards originally was 91E version upgraded to I then J . Some of them when it’s upgraded it take about 5-10 minutes to loose the programming and some will loose right away except the time date will still be correct but everything else is gone.

Its not you its Avaya. They came to our location and upgraded over 300 processors to 91I and it didn't fix the problem. What we found was if you backed up the programming to the internal memory or external card after the upgrade has been performed and power is lossed the programming is O.K. "MOST" of the time. Everyone that has been losing programming we have been sending back.

Thanks for the replay. So what is the next step from Avaya if anyone knows? I have installed the new patch J with no correction of the problem (loosing programming when power is lost) .I guess we have to wait for another patch or hardware replacements. I’m just wondering what you guys are doing with your customers regarding this problem. I suggest to them doing a backup to the internal memory however it’s not a complete fix.

Many Avaya Business Partners refuse to sell the R7 processor. They sell the R6 (which is still in production).
