Currently we have 2 stand alone POTS lines rolling to each other and then to t1 which has 7 channels. THe provider needs to put in a screening number between the POTS and the t1 which in turn acts like an unassigned DID. This leaves us little control of the inbound call.

Ideally what we would like to do is emulate the t1 and the POTS lines just like regular lines so we could have them appear on muliple sets. Is there any other way that I can do this?

Thanks in advance.

This sounds like something similar to what I am attempting to do, but I am having multiple problems with the Avaya ACS.

You can have your T1 provider assign a POTS line to a single channel and bring the lines in over the T1 as opposed to analog. This option would not be DID service and you would assign treatment to the line as you would an analog line.

You can read about the problems I'm having in the thread "Partner R7 T1 problem."

Hope this helps.
