Partner ACS: Is there any other module option for the ACS that will work together?

I want to have emergency spares in stock while I send off any Procs, VM and expansions boards for repair. But I would like not to spend a pile fo money or in house spares.

For example was there an older versions of Proc's/VM/308 used that will work in the ACS enviroment?

I already have some 308E's in stock. I can send my 308EC's in for example and not really worry about the customer complaining about not having Caller ID for a week.

P.S. Other than MetroLine are there any good sources for Partner parts? Anyone on line here have any older stock they want to move, modules, carriers, sets including the MLS's?

Even some of the damaged or non working stuff. I can send that off for repair to MetroLine so I can keep them in stock for system failures.

206 mods will work , mls will work, any partner module or phone will work with the acs,

you can probably buy working partner on ebay cheaper than metroline repair costs

you need to get yourelf a carrier and processor so you can check the stuff when you get it . and confirm its good before taking it to a cstomer site .

it will also give you thye opurtunity to try things and learn the system "hands on

Thank you sir. Most of my experience has been on the Startel system which is used for traditional paperless Telephone Answering Services.

I have just started to work on and installed and preowned key systems of all types. I am leaning twords the Partner system. I like the ease of the Remote Access and the fact that SLS can be added.

Partner has been easier to work on than Meridian or NEC. The Merlin and Spirit for very small applications are also my favorite. The Merlin sets are a classic design, tough and cheap to buy on eBay.

I have looked on eBay for Partner parts. I already bought some expansion modules there.

As far as the ACS PROC module. Do they all have the PC CARD slots and the CONTACT CLOSURE and SMDR ports? And can I use the older release versions of the PROC?

Yes, the in house carrier is just what I need and I can pick them real cheap.
