Presently I am looking at replacing a Merlin II.
Configured for 16 lines, 32 stations.
I will replace it with a ACS 6.0, 2-012 cards
and a T1 card. PVM PC Voice Mail, R3 (2x16)All sets
will be 18D. Attendant a 34D with a Partner CA-48.
Does the 012 cards support Caller-Id?
Does anyone see any problems with this configuration?
This will leave me with one open slot for expansion.

The PC card voicemail card would be a constraint. Not much storage at all and you cannot forward a message from 1 mail box to another and Each mailbox will only have 6 minutes and 15 seconds of storage. The more you use it the more that you realize it dosent do much You may want to, consider an aftermarket Voicemail like a Voicegate or a duvoice

Good call ttech,

It really depends on how you are going to use the PC mail, if you want a full blown Auto Attn and user mail box's with all the features then ttech is absolutely correct (you won't like the PC mail) Key Voice works great with the Partner system also.

A trusted source for years.
