ACS Contact Closure

Can you turn contact closure on and off. Like during the day have it to where you can just walk in and out without it and at night have the contact closure on.

Yes you can turn it off and on ( #613 then press contact number 1-2 then 4 to use the toggle option) but it can't be turned off and on via night or day mode you just have to program a button to turn it off and on.

How would I go about assigning contact closure to a button?

Step 1(#612) Assign contact closure 1 or 2 then the ext. that you have the contact closure device on.

Step 2(#613) Determine how you want to use this device.
Enter 1 or 2 then assign (1=1 sec on) (2=3 seconds on default)(3=5 seconds on) or (4=toggle)

Step 3 Determine what phone you need to switch this device, find a button with a light, press feature 00 then press the blank button and enter FEATURE 41= contact closure 1 of FEATURE 42 for contact closure 2
