I have 2 servers. Server 1 is setup with ACS (Tacacs)4.0 and Cryptocard software. Server is the backup and gets replicated with the same data from server 1 every 60 mins.
So i have replication already setup.
I want to be able to unplug server 1 to fail it and then server 2 will be the authentication server for the users. I have setup the proxy distribution table in ACS so i can have a backup server but when i turn off server 1 it doesnt failover.
Proxy Distribution Table

Character String AAA Servers Strip Account
backup server2 No Local/Remote
default server1 No Local/Remote
Anyone done this before maybe
