ACS 7.0 software Rel "O" features 2

It was mentioned in this forum that the 7.0 release "O" has been shipped to some BP's.

I have searched the Avaya support website to find out what new features the "O" release has to offer.No luck in finding any info from Avaya...

Anyone out there have a link to this info, or possible some insight as to what new bell's and whistle's the new release may have...

Hot Keypad Dialing
[tab]Allows PARTNER ACS ETR telephones to make calls by just dialing the number on the keypad, without having to lift the handset or pressing a speaker button.

Message Alert Notification
[tab]Allows any PARTNER ACS ETR telephone, programmed with Auto Intercom buttons, to see which users have messages waiting in their mailbox.

Network Clock Synchronization
[tab]The PARTNER ACS R7 will automatically synchronize the system clock with the time sent with the incoming Caller ID information.

Extension Name and Number on the display
[tab]Provides a visual display of the programmed extension name and extension number on the display.

TTT...I'm liking the message alert notification feature..long time coming..
Just wondering how it will work with the assignment of a auto intercom button..
Flashing light on the auto intercom button for the Px assigned.... or dial a code, or special button then dial the Px number, or ? Hmmmmm

Program a "message alert" Button with lights [feature 27]. When you turn it on it it will give message status of any intercom autodials you have programmed on your phone. When you turn it off you get normal usage indication on your phone

is there any documentation on this on the Avaya website or do you have to know someone to get this. I downloaded the latest R7 manual and there is no mentioning of any of this and it is also from June 2004. So if anyone has a link please post it so i can read up on it.

The hot dial feature sounds interesting but I'm wondering how it will work...
Do I dial a 7 or 10 digit number on the dial pad and then touch a line button or do I touch a dedicated button for the hot key pad feature..or ?

For hot dial pad you need another button with lights programmed with Feature 26.
