Installed an ACS 6.0 processor with 2 308ec's and all power up with green lights except the Voicemail module VS 5.0 ...... It turns red for a second then yellow and then no lights . I replaced the 5 slot carrier and have the same problem

I have taken the VM out and put it on a ACS 3.0 in another 5 slot carrier and it works fine.
Any clues

Try the VS in slot 1 without the 308s. Then try a 308 in slot 1 and the VS in slot 2.

You may find a weird situation whe the VS wants to be in slot 1 with both 308s after it.

Don't forget that your VM port extension numbers change depending on the slot and other cards.

What release is the VS5? What release is the R6?

I tried the VS in Slot 1, 2,4 and 5 and it does not work in either slot with the ACS R6.0 but will work a 308 R3.0 in any slot.
What brought this all about was the customer was having problems with the 2 308 cards as they stopped working. The ACS processor R3.0 was working properly along with the voicemail card. Upon inspection the lights were off . We tried reseating the cards and that did not work. We installed a new 308EC module and still no go.
We installed a new ACS 308R6 and it solved the 308ec problem but created the VM VS5 issue.
