ACS 3.0 with Messeging added later from different system. 1

Here's my delema:
I have a Partner ACS release 3 that has been out of service for over a year now. I would like to re-employ it now, and have purchased a Partner Messeging release 1.0 module with a 2 port liscence card. I'm attempting to reset the passwords. Here is my question though. In order to reset from Extention 10, do the hunt groups need to be setup? I can't seem to get to anything, though I have green lights accross the board.

My setup is exactly 308EC in 1st and second slot, Processor in middle, then VM in 4th slot from left.

Ultimately I'd like to upgrade to 6.0 or 7.0 but I'd like total contol before then.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The hunt group does need to be set up, and with your configuration they are Ext. 34 and 35. So, #505-7-34-1, #505-7-35-1, #306-34-10, #306-35-10 should get you there.

I'm having some stupid user issues I'm sure, but I'd bet an hour or two woth you on the line would get me straightened out.
