I have a user running Windows NT 4.0, that is experiencing a problem with Adobe Acrobat v4.0.

I have very little experience with Acrobat, so please bare with me.

When trying to print a PDF file back to a Postscript file to programme hangs immediately. A small window opens, but is completely empty. The only way to remove it, is by ending the process in Task Manager.

The strange thing is, she has been using this machine, with this version of Acrobat for a long time, with this problem only beginning last week?

No changes have been made to the machine at all!

As i have no experience with Adobe products, i honestly do not know where to begin. I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling the programme, but the problem is still there.

Kind regards,

Scott.

Scott,
Have there been any changes to the printer, that you're aware of? Is it possible that your printer driver has become corrupt? That's where I'd begin my research: re-load or update printer drivers first and see what happens. If your postscript is failing, the most likely cause is with the drivers. Are you aware of any network problems (if you're working over a network)? Are you having printing issues with any other programs? Report back your results.

Knock and the door shall be opened unto you. Seek and ye shall find! [peace]

I love Mondays cause they're the Second day of the week!
