Hi,
I'm having a problem with .xdp files.
We have a blank form hosted on a server
data files are passed by e-mail
1. A User goes to that form fills it in and clicks submit
2. The form is then e-mailed to their line manager who opens it up reads what they have written adds some more then submits it again to a department.
3. The department log it in whatever way they see fit no doubt using copy and paste.
Now all this worked before but we are now installing a new version of our build to the desktops, they used to be 7 or 8 but they are all going to Adobe Reader 9 now.
When I open one now it loads the form but everything in it is blank
I can open the xdp file in notepad and everything looks OK there
I can save the attachment to my desktop open the document in Internet Explorer (so I have a blank one) then drag the xdp file into IE it all loads up fine
However this isn't a solution I can get a user to do.
I have also noted that it works if there is a copy of Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.01 Installed and I have not looked into any options in that.
I have looked into various options but I cant fine one that says "Always blank my forms"
Anyone got any ideas??
