I imported files from Win98 to Win XP without installing Office 2000 first. (1st mistake) Then I loaded Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.01 before Office. (2nd mistake) Now every time I open a Word document or try to create one I get an error, "Cannot find Create Adobe PDF monitor, Please reinstall program."
How can I get this error to stop? I have uninstalled all the Adobe program (with through search for files) and it says there are no adobe products on my computer. I have tried to resave documents and still get the error. It will open and let you work with the documents but the errors are a pain and basically remind me how stupid I was when I transferred thoes files.
