Acrobat 5 (Writer) and Premiere 6.5
I have tried all the changables that seem to make sense in Premiere.
Quicktime 5 on Win 98 plays them all without hesitation but Acrobat reports that the file is not a movie when I attempt to insert the file. The AVI version loads and plays perfectly. I tried the CD I made in various machines and a Mac needs the right version of Quicktime to handle AVI which I cannot predict in unknown users. MOV is the obvious answer and Adobe should be compatible with Adobe. What am I missing? or is there a simple shareware app that can fix the missing data in the MOV file?

TIA

BTW the Qt sample MOV runs in Acrobat OK so it is not Acrobat failing totally on MOV's - just some.

Adobe acrobat forum reports this in a few threads and has no direct answer - just a third party solution like Quicktime writer. I found a stitcher at rejump.com that is small and fastish and cures the problem, though the mov filesize is still and issue in Acrobat - too large in pixels and or bit rates and it is a problem, All relative but harder to get right with Windows/mov.
