We have a machine running XP and IE6, with Acrobat Reader 7.0.
On one particular website (an online banking site) there is 'Print' button, which should result in the user being prompted to 'OPEN' the file, Acrobat opening with the report, and the user then selects 'File/Print' from the menu.
What actually happens in a prompt is displayed :
Heading : 'File Download - Security Warning'
A random filename is presented, without the PDF extension. Selecting the 'OPEN' option just hangs, and selecting 'SAVE' allows the user to save the file by adding the .PDF extension.
The link for exporting the report as an XLS gives the correct dialog box, so I suspect something in the IE security settings is affecting the link.
Can anyone help??
