I’m trying to allow printing of the specific page ranges within the bookmark list. I started by creating a popupmenu with essentially all the entries within the table of contents (bookmarks), but I apparently ran into a limit on how many entries are allowable within each level. (around 26 or so). I’m creating the PDF through an XSL:FO (.fo file) created by software I wrote, and then sending the .fo file through XSLFormatterV3 (Antenna House). I have been able to get the page number ranges and build the javascript through a post-process to incorporate into the resulting PDF file, but some of the levels exceed 26, so they don’t display. Is there anyway around this?
Also, as an alternative, I was going to add a menu item to the Bookmarks menu, to print the selected (highlighted) bookmark. This would work, but I don’t see any construct within Acrobat’s Javascript that gives me the current selected bookmark entry. If I could get that, I would exec a function and based on the value of the bookmark, reference a page from/to array, and print the page range. Is there any way to get the current selected bookmark?
Thanks
Mike
