I'm using InDesign CS, and am exporting .eps files for use in a pagination program on another computer that processes these .eps files and outputs .ps files. This other computer flushes my InDesign .eps files, but none of my other .eps files from other applications.
I've tried exporting .eps's from ID at different postscript levels, font embedding levels, and have tried different settings on export, but my .eps's are still flushing at the other computer.
The weird thing is, if I take my InDesign native file and export it as a .pdf or .eps and convert it into a .pdf through Distiller, and then open this .pdf in Acrobat and then resave as an .eps, my files will then work fine on the other computer.
Why?????? Can anyone explain this?
Why does resaving a .pdf to an .eps through Acrobat cause my .eps files not to flush, and saving directly as an .eps from InDesign flush?????
