Acrobat 6.0 Page Fault ESCRIPT.ap1 error

Whenever I open Adobe Acrobat I get the following error illegal operation error.

Acrobat caused an invalid page fault in module ESCRIPT.API

Then it crashes! I have no idea how to fix this or what happened to cause it.

Please help!!

I ended up deleting the update script which must have been corrupted. After that it worked just fine. The file name to delete is:

udstore.js
