I have a "form" or rather used a form to block out a section of the file i'm trying to print. The selection is made and told that it is viewable on screen, but does not print. This works fine if you open it in acrobat 5 and prints perfect. Now when you open it in Acrobat 6, and i'm also presuming 7 it does not recognize the "form" and prints all contents. Please tell me how/why this is and what to do to fix it. Its vitally important!

I'm facing similar problems:

We created several fillable forms via Acrobat 5. When published users of Acrobat Reader 5 can view and modify the forms without issue.

Users of Acrobat Reader 6 and 7 have problems where form fields over write text, or they can't access a form field.

In the case of not being able to access a form field they can click in the field and the cursor changes to a flashing |. But they cannot input any information.

None of this odd behavior is evident in Acrobat Reader 5, it only manifests itself in Acrobat Reader 6 and 7.

Has anyone else run across this, and if so, what was the fix. We don't have the option of migrating away from Acrobat 5 to create the forms at the moment. Is there a fix?

Thanks for any replies.
