I need to acquire all non-acd back office phones, the NICE Voice recorder needs to get info from the system for CLID, DNIS etc.
Any ideas, if I try acquire the TN (AST = YES/0, IAPG = 1) I get TN Acquire failed?
Does SCCS support this operation?

sccs cannot acquire non acd sets, thus you have a acquire failed scenario.

if a third party application needs to acquire your sets, your sccs should have the MLSM service running. also AST and IAPG is needed on the sets.

Another way is to use Nortel TAPI. You can acquire any non-acd phones with TAPI and use them to work with NICE Recorder to get those information (CLID, DNIS ets)

the ast and iapg only register the set and put the info onto the cti link.

as ipeolgy said symposium is not able to aquire these, but the nice will pick up the information with regards to clid, dnis start times stop times etc.

This is all done throu the nice's own cti application.

The other way to get this info is via a cdr port on the meridian. but it will depend on your nice install

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.
