Acquiring image from scanner using Twain driver

I can only find one source code example in either C# or VB.Net, and it does not function on my computer, complaining that managed code can't be run in a DLL.

How do you import a twain DLL and access it's methods in VB.Net?

the eassiest and cheapest way is to buy a little component which you can find here

http://www.vintasoft.com/index.html

You can easily make your own but it takes lots of time.
