ACPI error

Hi All,

I have Dell Inspison 1501 with AMD processor and i checked event system log and getting the following error: -

I have logged a ticket with dell support and they claiming this is OS related and request me to perform PC restore.

Thus I would like to verify this with the expert here before i do something.

A few Google posts like this one talk about overheating, perhaps you should consider that type of problem.

This refers more to HP but identifies a problem with AMD and SP3.

HP machines and xp's SP3 have a known issue
