I'm posting to this list as I have a total mystery that I have been
working on for days, and still have no solution.
I have an S8700 setup (upgrade from G3R) on ACM 1.3.2 with latest
superpatch. I also have a Concerto Unison 6 Dialler, using softdial
via CVLAN on MAPD (version 8.0.2).
We have been using this for outbound for a number of years with local
agents on DCP phones with no issue.
I now have a large agent population offshore using IPagent in
telecommuter mode, who have been using outbound without issue.
We have now started blending with the unison system and all the local
DCP phone agents work fine, but the offshore agents using IP agent
can rarely get logged in to the dialler.
Logs on the dialler seem to show that the agents are being denied a
lonon by the switch, although this is not a problem for all agents.
yesterday I had an offshore agent fail to log in three times, but
manage on their 4th attempt, although no changes had been made to
their setup.
I have thought of many possibilities, but none of them add up. For
example, MAPD throughput - if so, why don't I have problems on-shore
or with my inbound CTI application - which uses the same MAPD?
Agent setup - why can agents get in sometimes and not others?
If anyone has any ideas, please post as I am going crazy here!!
Also if anyone knows how to get teh ASAI trace logs as files, rather
than it printing to the screen, that would be really helpful as well!
