Can you apply a standard IP and an Extended IP ACL to the same interface (same direction)? If so does the Standard list get processed first? I am pretty sure you can't apply 2 extended ACLs to the same interface/direction so I don't see how you could apply a STD and Extended IP ACL to the same int\direction. Can't really find a straight awnser so I am handing it off to you guys.

Thanks

i believe you cant
the command sequense is
access-group _access-list_nuber_ in|out
just one ACL okay?

Good question. I BELIEVE (but I am not positive) that you can only have 1 access-list of any kind per interface per direction because the ACL filters againts all packets. Also you do have both IP and IPX coming in the same router inteface then I think you could create subinterfaces to handle each.

Does anyone have more experience combining the two on the same subnet?
