I know that when you build an Access database and create and then delete object (like queries or tables) you need to compact the database form time to time. Is there a function out there that will tell me how much disk space is "really" being used by the database versus what is being reported in explorer? I'm using Access 2000 version with Windows 2000 operating system. Can anybody help? Please! [pacman]

I don't think so
but why don't you turn on the compact on close option in "Tools" menu "options"
then it will always be as small as it can be when you are done with it.
