Could someone give me a pointer in how I would create a spreadsheet that is linked to an access database where I the data can be used in the excel spreadsheet.

I am an access vba programmer and need to learn how to use excel for a frontend. And just need some help in where I would start with this.

Help is greatly appreaciated as I have 2 days to learn this.

kindet regards,
Neemi

If someone knows of a site that shows this in a tutorial or if any one has a simple sample spreadsheet/db etc would be great.

Eagerly awaiting help.

Have you searched the Access forums such as Microsoft: Access Other topics? If you search on Linking Excel you'd get some results to look through.
Do you mean in Access:
File - Get External Data - Browse to Excel File, follow wizard.

Also, post in Access forums.

from wat i have been told the company have excel spreadsheets which are linked to access databases. and the excel spreadsheet works as the front end for the database so anything edited/added in the spreadsheet is also added/edited in the database.

Accessing MS Access from Excel...
File - Get External Data - Browse to MS Access Files, follow wizard.

Might also be a VBA procedure using ADO.

Both methods work well.
