How do I create a Form that will allow me to enter Data in the primary table and then automatically (or via mouse click) open a subsidiary related table (with the linking field established in the act of opening)in order to enter data in that related table.
In other words I do not want to have to create the relationship separately.

Hi JamesGun,
Working with forms:

On your second form you could have the related field visible or not. (I usually go for not as it's really pointless to show it.) Set this fields Default Value to something like:

=Forms![NameOfFirstForm]![NameOfFieldOnFirstForm]

Any record you enter will by default, take the number you've assigned.

P.S. Make the field invisible after you've done a test or two. You'll see how it runs. ;-) Gord
