Hi Jim,
Thanks for the reply. When you were taking the test, did you find any questions that you thought the answers given were all wrong? I've found 5 that I'm trying to question Crystal Decisions on, but no reply so far.

Funny that you should mention that: When the eight (8) of us were at Crystal Decisions in Vancouver for the CRCC, many a discussion surrounded the correct answers to the questions.
The A.C.E. was a prerequisite for the CRCC and worst CD would not advise us on which questions we were correct or incorrect!!

Hi Jim,
I'm taking the test now, and it will tell you if your answer is correct or not. I know I goofed up on a few questions, but there are 5 that I think I am correct on that were marked wrong. Those 5 make the difference between passing or not. There are also 4 questions that grammar / spelling was wrong on. I'm currently playing phone tag with someone from Crystal to see if they will work with me on this.
I'll let everyone know..

You have to love the English language for being so ambiguous! As for the King’s English, the East coast version is written differently than from the West coast!!
Good Luck with CD and the ACE Exam…

Good luck arguing w/Crystal on their ambiguous questions - been there; done that; didn't get the T-shirt. The response(s) I got back from them were, "We know you can do that, but why would you want to...?" - (i.e. doesn't matter, you still failed - kinda like having a question that starts out with "In your opinion..." marked wrong on a final exam). I've heard - but haven't verified - that ACE for 9.0 is less ambiguous than what it was for 8.5.
Hi Midearth,
I guess I got lucky... I was able to get Crystal to change 3 questions that they had marked wrong to correct. I was able to find in their help files etc the correct answers. Overall the test wasn't too bad.
