Hi All, How long do u reckon it would take to do all the aca, acs and ace exams , and how much do u reckon it would cost. I have good experience on the older definitys, not too hot on s8300-s8700. How much do u think u could earn with ace also in the UK
Thanks guys

I have the ACA for Install and Maintenance. Logo looks nice below my email address.... Still getting paid the same might have to find a new company to put it to good us.
A lot of network questions.

Without sounding like I'm blowing my trumpet. I have 3 ACA's, 2 ACS's and I'm going for the ACE this weekend. This has basically cost me £600/$1100 and has taken me 6 months. I had experience on the definity, but little else. Same as you. Lots, lots, & lots of reading, reading old tech tips and basically a lot of hard work. I spent an average of 3 hrs a day reading, taking notes etc.

Even with above, I'm fully aware that having a few letters after your name doesnt mean much compared to experience, but I'm more after a Telecoms Manager role, rather than engineering, so the theroy should be enough for me.

Everything you need is on avaya.com/google/test engine's. Don't learn just via test engines as in the long run it won't get you through.

I heard top engineers with overtime are £70K ish, but you need the ACS,ACE and a few yrs of experience at top end.

If you have the time, go for it as you learn alot

Good luck.
