We have recently upgraded to ACDEV POS and we are able to force new database on the workstation, so we have connection between the server and the workstation.
However when we do cash out and close till, we get an error saying that that there was an error in the upload.
The RDTD zip folder is in \\POSServer\Company\<company>\<RegX>, but its has 0 bytes of data.
Error log in POSServer shows nothing and there are no transactions in ACCPAC.
1) Can you advise what is wrong and how we can correct it?
2) Is it possible to retrieve the last two days of lost transactions and resubmit to POS Server?
3) Is there anyway to backup files on the workstation before doing close till, so that if the upload fails it can be resent?
Running ACDEV POS 2008.1.5.0 on a Windows 2008 server. Workstation is XP SP2.
