ACD

I have a couple of issues with ACD. First we run reports from OPT11C to a pc via tty port 2. All of a sudden it quit working. The tty port is good, the Hyperterminal session is open to the pc and it just don't work. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank's

Hi,

Probably obvious stuff but.

- Check LD 37 is TTY 2 enabled ?
If it is enabled type TTY 2 (enter) whilst still in LD 37
If the port is active & sending data the screen will display the alphabet. If not as, say a serial cable fault the screen will not return the dot prompt which indicates its still attempting to send the print job. If this happens Tpe 4 *'s to exit the print job then check out your cabling.

Second thing is to type disc tty 2 in LD 37 as the TTY's sometimes get messed up even though they show IDLE.
Reconnect the TTY by typing ENL TTY 2.

Retest the first suggestion.

I thought that ACD reports from the PBX are put out on a tty port that is defined as a printer> PRT 2 and not as a tty> tty 2. Is the printer defined in the scb block of LD 23?

Anyone had problems with the line length on ACD reports. My reports have Carriage Returns at 72 characters. I will past the output from my Rept 1. It may not look right here, but you can see after AVG-TIME- there is a CR and POSN is on the next line.
