Hi .. I have a couple of ACD supervisor sets that require personal voicemail boxes for their private lines and they forward on to voicemail fine - however the lights on the phones do not turn on when they have a voicemail.. They are set in COS to allow Message waiting etc.. Is there something missing - i.e. anything need to be set on the ACD queue or other programming to allow ? All other phone types are working fine for voicemail.

Thanks!

is it multiple appearence? An ACD set MWI will not function w/ a multiple appearence DN (proplerly, that is) Remove DN from other sets, or live w/o MWI

Thanks for the reply!.. Yes actually both phones are multiple appearance DN's as each supervisor has a portable set as well that they use when circulating the call center. I'll see if they can live with a diffent DN for the portable sets instead..

appreciate the help!

They won't turn on then you will need to use XMWK

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS AND AVAYA

Is the mailbox on the queue number? What MWIDN are you using? You may need to use another DN for the MWI, add that dn to the supervisors phone, and use XMWK for the new DN.

The mailbox number is the prime DN ( 2783) on the set and that is the mailbox number and MWIDN that is referenced in CallPilot Voicemail. The supervisor's queue is 5099 and no there is not a voicemail box on this queue number. Should I use XMWK then for 2783 or add another DN to the set and set the flag for that DN?
thanks!

xmwk for 2783 should work in place of the mwk key that is what we do here.

We just used the email notification feature in the mailbox of CallPilot to let the people know they have a message instead of relying on the light on hte phone...

another thing.. cls lmpx.. lights the msg lamp for non pdn's.. our symposium phones have a xmwk for the same reason

ARe these settings for the phone programming that you're mentioning.. lmpx with an xmwk key?

thanks !

print the phone and look for the mwk key. change the key to xmwk <voicemail DN> <Phone DN>

THanks this worked.. at least now they can see an indication for voicemail on their phone keys. Still no light however..

yeah, if you wanted a light, wld hv to chg the one they walk around with & and a CP profile for it that MWI's the desk one

Right.. thanks again for all the great information and solutions everyone!

Mich

Have you tried lmpx in the cls as John suggested?
If you get the blinking lcd on the xmwk key then lmpx should get the red led to light.

Hi again,

Yes.. both light and xmwk key are now working!
Thanks again for all the valuable help....
