I had to make a change to the PBX to accept a new area code that was an overlay to our existing. In doing that we can no longer dial numbers as local and have to treat them as long distance. So...a menu I had built that uses ACD, MAXP is set to 1, then NCFW goes to a Phantom DN. That phantom then dials a cell phone number for our security guard. I added the 1+ area code, and by testing the phantom number direct it works fine. However by dialing the menu number, listening and making my choice of 1 (Which dials the ACD number), I get a partial ring and the call drops. Any suggestions?

Your menu option first dials an ACDN which is NCFW to a phantom that is DCFW to the external number?

Try making the ACDN NCFW directly to the external number. I don't see the need for a phantom. That will probably fix you problem. If not, then you will need to make sure that the voice channels on the CallPilot (or whatever voicemail) have the NCOS and CLS that allow them to call the security guard.

Why not just let the voicemail dial the number straight from the menu? If you're about Toll Fraud then build a filter so that only the guards number is allowed to be dialed. In order to dial 1+ now you'll have to change your NARS/BARS settings for that Area Code. It was probaly set for 10 digit dailing.
