How many calls can be queued in a ACD q?

i don't remember seeing that in print.. the largest i've ever work on was 1200 agents and around 30 pri's.. that switch has dual symposiums along with ivr and about every other whistle and bell that you could dream of.. calls in que older then x que'ed to a group on other switches.. very complex networking

Hi john,

is the ACD QUEUE limit depends on the switch's trunk?

is the system is having any limit with ACD calls?

no, one per trunk plus one per internal station.. just make sure you have your rans engineered right.. if you cue to many calls to a ran recording.. that caller may hear ringback untill the recording is ava.. a trac of that call will show acd lo-que.. ie no answer supervision.. you've got to thiink that these boxes can handle 10K plus stations.. i can't estimate how many calls per hour that big acd group was handling.. but on my current site, out operators handle 12K+ calls per week with an average of 3 agents, that acd and symposium

hey John -- if you have a RAN route with only 1 trunk member, does that mean that only one call can be presented with the recording at a time?
